Ramino Table rules

Table

Two to four players, one stake per table. Every player pays the stake into the pot when the cards are dealt; the pot, minus the 5% commission, goes to whoever closes.

Cards

Two French decks plus four jokers: 108 cards. Ten cards each, one at a time; the next card opens the discard pile.

Turn

Draw from the stock or take the top discard, then lay down combinations of at least three cards, attach cards to any combination on the table, and discard one card. The card taken from the discard pile cannot be discarded in the same turn.

Combinations

A set is three or four cards of the same rank in different suits. A run is three or more consecutive cards of the same suit; the ace counts low (A-2-3) or high (Q-K-A). A joker replaces one card, at most one per combination.

Closing

The hand ends when a player discards the last card. If the stock runs out it is reshuffled from the discards; after the third reshuffle the hand is a draw and every stake is returned.

Time

Each move has a 20-second limit; when it expires the dealer plays the turn automatically. A disconnected player keeps the seat until the hand ends. Leaving during a hand forfeits the stake.

Fairness

The hash of the hand seed is shown when the cards are dealt; the seed itself is revealed when the hand ends, so the whole deck can be recomputed and checked.
